It is also shown that it is an entertaining and informative program ideal for art house theatrical venues and broadcasters of documentary content.

Northeast Passage made its public debut in July of 2002. Over the last 15 months Northeast Passage has had great success with both of these marketing and outreach tracts in Portland and Oregon. The film has:

The film consistently gets high marks and recognition for its dramatic content and even handed journalism.

As of November 1st, SydHonda Media LLC will begin the next phase of its marketing and outreach plan by making the film available to audiences around the country. The work documented in the Portland area represents the experimenting and fine tuning of our plan for delivering this great product to audiences and communities around the country.

While unique in its relatively small size, Portland's African American community represents a microcosm of inner city black communities across the country.
